Eleven common failures of fluorine lined pumps and how to deal with them.

1, the shaft seal is hot.
Treatment:Seal is too tight or friction, please loosen the seal, check the water seal pipe.

2、The rotor honeycomb is too large.
Treatment:(1)Improper operation of the gas liner pump, must be operated in accordance with the regulations, so that the pump operates near the design condition. (2) Balance is not normal, you should unclog the balance pipe.

3、Can not start or start the load is large.
Treatment: (1) The prime mover or power supply is not normal, you should check the power supply and the condition of the prime mover. (2) pump stuck main, to check with manual coupling, if necessary, disassemble and check to eliminate static and dynamic part of the fault. (3) If the seal is very tight, loosen the packing. (4) When the discharge valve is not closed, close the discharge valve and restart. (5) When the balance pipe is not smooth, unclog the balance pipe.

4、No liquid discharge. Treatment:(1)Refill the pump if the pump is insufficient (or the gas in the pump is not discharged). (2) Check the direction of rotation when the pump is wrong. (3) Check the rotation speed and increase it if the pump speed is too low. (4) If the filter is clogged and the bottom valve does not work properly, check the leakage screen and remove the trash. (5) If the height is too high or there is vacuum in the suction tank, reduce the adsorption height and check the pressure in the suction tank.

5. Interruption after liquid discharge. Treatment is as follows: (1) If the suction pipe leaks, check the suction side piping connection and filling material sealing. (2) If the gas on the suction side cannot be completely discharged when the pump is injected, ask to refill the pump. (3) If the suction side is suddenly blocked by a foreign object, stop the pump to deal with the foreign object. (5) When a large amount of gas is inhaled check the suction port for swirls and whether the submergence depth is too shallow.

6、Pump leakage:
Possible causes: pump seal failure, sealing surface damage, improper installation of seals, sealing environment pollution.
Treatment: Check the seals, such as mechanical seals or soft packaging seals, to ensure that the installation is correct, the tightening torque is correct, the sealing surface is clean and flat, to ensure that the environment is not contaminated. Replace the seals or adjust the installation if necessary.

7, the pump vibration or noise:
Possible causes: pump impeller imbalance, bearing damage, inlet pipe obstruction, etc..
Treatment: Check whether the pump impeller is balanced, check whether the bearing is working properly, clean the inlet pipe to ensure smooth.

8, pump flow or head drop:
Possible reasons: the inlet valve is not fully open, the pump internal scale or blockage, pump impeller damage.
Treatment: Make sure the inlet valve is fully open, clean up the dirt or clogging inside the pump, check and repair the damaged pump impeller or other key components.

9, the pump running temperature is abnormal:
Possible causes: the medium temperature exceeds the design range of the pump, seal failure resulting in leakage.
Treatment: Ensure that the medium temperature is within the design range of the pump, and regularly check and maintain the sealing parts of the pump to ensure its normal operation.

10、Motor overheating or motor failure:
Possible causes: unstable power supply voltage, motor overload, internal motor failure, etc.
Treatment: Check the stability of the power supply voltage, reduce the motor load, ensure that the motor maintenance is in place, and replace or repair the motor if necessary.

11, sealed environment pollution:
Possible causes: the presence of corrosive substances or particles in the surrounding environment, or the sealing environment does not have good cleaning measures.

Treatment: Improve the sealing environment of the pump, take measures to prevent corrosive substances or particles from entering, and keep the seals clean and flat.
